CoolSpot™
is designed to improve patient comfort during aesthetic laser
procedures. The industry's smallest and lowest-priced cooling
device, it provides surface cooling to the upper layers of skin
during dermatological treatments with Laserscope's Aura™,
Aura SL™ and Lyra™ Laser Systems.
CoolSpot is
specifically designed to fit the pencil-like shape of Laserscope's
DermaStat™ and VersaStat™ handpieces. The small size
of the window allows physicians to treat highly contoured areas,
such as around the nose. Due to its highly compact design, it
also provides excellent visibility of the treatment area.
CoolSpot obviates
the need for cumbersome hoses and costly stand-alone chillers,
which require additional electricity and space. Because of its
size and weight, the CoolSpot also eliminates inconvenience and/or
fatigue when performing a procedure.
