SmartScan
is a microprocessor-controlled scanning device for the removal
of cutaneous surface lesions. Available as an option with the
Aura and Orion Laser Systems, SmartScan delivers rapid, precise
bursts of laser light in a predetermined hexagonal or single spot
pattern with a preselected dose of laser energy. Based on INSERM
technology, SmartScan ensures that light is delivered in a precisely
controlled sequence, reducing the risk of overtreatment and tissue
damage.
